ABAC achievers

Brandi Marché Bishop, an Agricultural Education major from Zebulon, chose to attend ABAC in the sixth grade.

“After visiting the ABAC booth at the FFA convention in the sixth grade, I knew that ABAC was the college for me,” Bishop said.  “I went on tours and fell in love with the historic campus in a small town; it has been a home away from home.”

About to finish her first semester at ABAC, Bishop enjoys being involved in the ABAC Ambassadors, the Agricultural Engineering Technology Club and collegiate FFA.

“The best thing about attending ABAC is the small class sizes and friendly atmosphere,” Bishop said. “You can’t walk around campus without getting a smile and hello from everyone you pass.”

After finishing her studies at ABAC, Bishop plans to transfer to the UGA Tifton campus to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences. After that she hopes to earn a master’s degree and teach Agricultural Education.

Bishop’s favorite quote is by Babe Ruth, “Never let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game”.
